Hey all you gluten-free teenagers out there.
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in January 2007 and ever since then I have been exploring all the different types of celiac-friendly foods.
When I first began my gluten-free diet, I thought that it would be difficult to eat outside of my own kitchen. However, after much research and experimentation, I have discovered that we can eat almost anywhere!
I have been trying different restaurants in New York City and in Nassau County, Long Island and many have been great successes. Restaurants are becoming much more aware of exactly what a gluten-free diet is.
I'm here to help anyone out there who has questions with what and where to eat, and possibly what to say when ordering in a restaurant.
